Chapter 16 - Doc Hopper, Judge Judy, and Muppet Weddings
Before Kermit went into the O, a person then walked up beside him. “Listen, I can’t thank you enough for saving me and the gang”, “No Problem Frog” Doc Hopper said and grinned. “Do the show Frog”.
Kermit the Frog introduced the Muppet Show, and a wedding themed Muppet show theme started. Big Bird was apart of the Muppet Monsters walking in during the theme. There were more Arches in the theme song, which contained a few Sesame Muppets and Fraggles. Statler and Waldorf left the balcony after the theme song, “Big Day, eh Frog?” Statler said. Kermit nodded.
Later in the show the Wedding finally happened, The Wedding scene was exactly like Muppets Take Manhattan, except every Muppet was there, including Snuffy, The Fraggles, The Sesame Street Humans were there, Gary, Mary, Max, Officer Meanie, Bobo, Doc Hopper, and Walter sat together. The Celebrity audience joined in on “He’ll Make Me Happy” along with the Wedding Guests.
Instead of The Minister having an operatic line, Judge Judy played the role of the minister, and did a short yet traditional wedding recital. Kermit and Miss Piggy had no problem saying I do.
They kissed and EVERYONE went wild on cheering and applauding. Walter was hysterically running around in his seat. Gonzo launched himself into the sky with his canon, he came back down and made a huge hole into the floor.
After the Wedding, Veronica planned a reception number, before Kermit went on Veronica informed him that the ratings have crashed her network’s servers, this was the highest rated Muppet Show ever.
The Reception number then came, It was a redone scene from The Great Muppet Caper, including “The First Time it happens number”, Lady Holiday was in the sketch, Doc Hopper replaced Nicky, Lady Holiday kept dreading how big of a criminal her brother was.
After the number, Kermit announced that it was the final number for the night, and had the audience thank the special guests and Miss Piggy. The Muppet Orchestra did a Wedding Themed Muppet End Theme. Kermit and Miss Piggy met the Celebrity audience at the door. They did a Meet and Greet for a while.
“Oh Kermie, we did it!” Miss Piggy was in glee, “Yes” Kermit said. Beauregard started moving the seats to the back of the theater “I smell a music number!” he said, George the Janitor helped him “I don’t smell anything!” He said, Deadly Popped up, “I love Finales!” he said.
The Muppet Monsters, The Gorgs, and Big Bird started of Life’s a Happy Song. The Muppet Families soon joined in. At the end of the song Kermit and Miss Piggy were about to kiss, Walter popped up in the middle, they realized that they kissed Walter. Miss Piggy karate chopped him. “I’ve always wanted to be karate chopped!!" Walter said starstruck from the floor.
